“Let’s Talk About NETs” this World NET Cancer Day Nov 10

  • August 1, 2016

Unfortunately in the crowded space of health promotion amongst not for profits and patient groups, less common cancers such as Neuroendocrine (NET) cancers do not get the attention that they deserve and need.

This year we propose that we simplify our complicated message and with the help of our patients and supporters around the country (and around the globe) spread the news through “Let’s Talk About NETs”.

We want to encourage our patients and supporters to start the conversation about NET Cancers in their local community, by contacting their local cafe owners and asking them to use our specially branded take away coffee cups on Thursday November 10.

By registering with us, we will supply a letter for the proprietor explaining the campaign, take away coffee cups and lids (minimum pack of 100 cups), posters, flyers, balloons and fundraising tin (optional).

We will support the cafe owners by listing them on our website and promoting them through social media. We ask our supporters to take photos and use #letstalkaboutnets to spread the word.

If you have a cafe in mind, download our letter explaining the idea and take out to your local community including hospitals.

Simply email Vanessa : vanessa.mundell@unicornfoundation.org.au with your details to register for a pack, and help us make this World NET Cancer Day our biggest yet!
