NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia & Norman Family Trust Partnership

  • December 14, 2022

NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia are delighted to announce a new donor partnership.

The Norman Family Bequest are funding a NET Nurse Educator in memory of Will Norman, a much-loved husband, father, son, brother, and secondary school teacher.

Will’s family lost him to Neuroendocrine Cancer at the age of 41 in February 2021. Will leaves a wife and two young children. Will’s experience of a late NET diagnosis is all too familiar, and The Norman Family Bequest is proud to help support optimal patient care and drive earlier diagnosis through the education of Health Care Professionals (HCP).

As Will lived in England, we will also be organising an on-going UK and Australian Nurse virtual conference, with a focus on knowledge sharing.  The inaugural conference will take place in 2023.

We are incredibly grateful to Will’s family for taking the time to learn more about NECA and for their ongoing financial support.

An announcement about the appointment of the Nurse Educator will be made early in 2023. We are excited to expand our team with a role solely focussed on HCP education, and our heartfelt thanks go to the Norman Family Bequest.

NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia is wholly funded by donations and private grants. Should you have any queries regarding the above partnership or wish to discuss your own legacy grant please contact our Partnerships Manager, Adie Williams, adie@neuroendocrine.org.au
