As many of you know, two years ago I lost my father to Neuroendocrine Cancer. This April Dad would be turning 69. In honour of Dads birthday I will be walking 69 kilometres, one kilometre for every year of his precious life. I’ll be walking from my home in Berwick to Melbourne Airport. For once it won’t matter if the borders are open or closed when I arrive, it’s truly the journey along the way that is what matters most. As well as honouring my Dad I’m raising money for NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia to assist their vision of championing an early diagnosis and a cure of this awful disease. Thanks in advance for your support, it means a lot to me. I will be tracking the walk through an app for anyone who wants to follow and will do regular updates. Any donations welcome, thank you again, have a great day!
