Thank You to the CWA South Australia

  • May 3, 2016
In 2015 the South Australian branch of CWA chose the Unicorn Foundation to be the recipient of their fundraising activities.

We are so grateful to the incredible women who bake cakes, hold markets and do numerous other activities to raise funds for charities and those less fortunate in the community. In Febuary 2016 we were lucky to meet the State President of SA, Linda Bertram and State Treasurer to tour the SA facilities, providing accommodation to volunteers from rural areas, and to be presented with an incredibly generous cheque of close to $10,000.

This was the result of a lot of hard work by a lot of hardworking women and for that we are so eternally grateful. This money will go towards our research fund and also to our support services such as our specialist NET Nurse helpline.

It was such a pleasure to meet SA CWA and thank them for all their support. Visit www.sacwa.org.au for more information about this incredible organisation.
