Dr Piyush Grover

Doctor Piyush Grover (B.Pharm (Hons), MBBS (Hons1), FRACP) is a medical oncologist at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Perth, Western Australia, and a PhD candidate at the University of Western Australia. He is a clinician-researcher with interests in neuroendocrine tumours, upper gastrointestinal cancers, and melanoma. Dr Grover is undertaking a clinical PhD in Immuno-Oncology after completing a clinical and research fellowship at the Melanoma Institute Australia. Dr Grover is committed to holistic patient centred care, evidence-based practice, and education. Dr Grover has published several peer-reviewed articles including a first-author publication in the Annals of Oncology and presented at international conferences such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is the site Principal Investigator for STOPNET clinical study at Fiona Stanley Hospital. Dr Grover received the WA Cancer and Palliative Care Network Cancer Research Fellowship in 2023 and has also received competitive grants offered by the Charlies Foundation for Research, North Metropolitan Health Service, and the Cancer Council of WA. He is the co-medical lead for The Western Australian Clinical Oncology Group supporting coordination of education to WA health professionals working in oncology. He is a nominated representative on the Western Australian Drug Evaluation Panel. He is a member of The Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Trials Group, Medical Oncology Group of Australia, and the European Neuroendocrine Tumour Society. He was runner-up for New Zealand’s Young Pharmacist of the Year in 2011.
