Facebook Friday 12/02/2021 – Informed Financial Consent, guest Megan Varlow (Cancer Council Aust.)

Overview

We hear only too frequently, the impact of costs of treatment, for people living with NETs.
The Cancer Council have recently been doing some significant work in the area of Informed financial consent. This requires patients to have information and support to make informed decisions about their care.
This week we were very pleased to be able to welcome Megan Varlow, the Director of Cancer Control Policy at Cancer Council Australia, who joined us for this week’s Facebook Friday conversation. Megan has been at the forefront of the work that has been done by Cancer Council in this area, and shared her insights and reflections on this important area.
