Kahlia Wolsley

Nurse Educator/Project Officer

Kahlia is a registered nurse and credentialed diabetes educator. Kahlia completed her Bachelor of Nursing degree in 2012 and finalised her Graduate Year in 2013 at St John of God Bendigo. Kahlia has experience on the medical ward, surgical ward, day procedure unit and critical care unit up until she found her passion in cancer care. Kahlia undertook her chemotherapy academic education course through Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and put this into practice for nearly 10 years working in the Oncology Unit at SJOG.

Kahlia strives to continuously increase her knowledge and skills and as such completed Post Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education in 2018. She has also had work experience as an Acting Breast Care Nurse Consultant and working as a practice nurse undertaking chronic disease GP management plans.

Kahlia, as project officer for NECA, also provides education and support to individuals diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer and their loved ones throughout their cancer journey. Kahlia is dedicated in providing personalised care, empowering and advocating individuals to get the best care for them.
