Adelaide NET Patient Forum 2025

Overview

This video is a recording of the Adelaide NET Patient Forum held in June 2025 at Flinders University. The forum brought together people living with neuroendocrine cancer, their families, clinicians and advocates for an evening of learning, support and connection.

The program featured expert presentations on key topics in neuroendocrine cancer care, including:

Associate Professor Gabrielle Cehic on advanced cancer care in South Australia and the Australian Cancer Plan

Dr Rebekah Chew on Carcinoid Syndrome, Carcinoid Heart Disease and Pancreatic Exocrine Insufficiency

Dr Rahul Solanki on medical oncology treatments and Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT)

Drs Chad Han and Ria Joseph on the AUS-NET Study, nutrition and the microbiome

Jess Mercurio on the role of PROMs in PRRT and patient-centred care

Meredith Cummins, CEO of NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia, on NETs and the support services available through NECA

The video concludes with a Q&A session where attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the speakers.
