Big News: We’re a Top 5 Finalist for the 2026 Patients’ Choice Awards!
We’re beyond excited to share some fantastic news — NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia has been named a Top 5 Finalist for the Outstanding Cancer & Rare Disease Organisation Award at the 2026 Patients’ Choice Awards!
This recognition means so much to us. Organisations and individuals working in cancer and rare disease do incredible work every day — supporting patients and families, raising awareness, driving research forward, and breaking down barriers to care. Being shortlisted through both nomination and public voting is a powerful reminder that our community sees and values the impact we’re making together.
And the celebrations don’t stop there — three members of our incredible team have also been named finalists!
Amelia Ramsay (pictured), VHL/NET Patient Advocate, is a finalist in the Outstanding Patient Advocate category.
Kahlia Wolsley, NECA Project Officer / Nurse Educator, is a finalist in the Outstanding Nurse category.
Amanda Stork, NECA Counsellor, is a finalist in the Outstanding Allied Health Professional category.
Amelia’s dedication to supporting patients and amplifying their voices, Kahlia’s tireless work educating and caring for our community, and Amanda’s compassionate counselling support all make these nominations so well deserved. We couldn’t be prouder to see them recognised alongside our organisation.
Now we wait for the big reveal! Winners will be announced at a gala evening on Thursday, 27th August, with two independent judges deciding the winner in each category.
