This webinar will provide practical insights into how psychosocial needs, quality of life and individual experiences can vary across different types of neuroendocrine cancer. It will also explore the role of the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) in supporting people with complex needs, coordinating care and providing ongoing support throughout the neuroendocrine cancer pathway.
The webinar will include:
- NET specialist counsellor – exploring the psychosocial impact of living with neuroendocrine cancer, including the emotional challenges patients may experience and how nurses can recognise when additional support may be needed.
- Exploring quality of life – communication and approaches to discussing and addressing psychosocial needs.
- Fireside chat with a nurse and a person living with a NET – sharing real-world experiences of communication, support and the impact of nursing care.
- Patient perspectives from NEC and inherited neuroendocrine conditions – hearing directly from those living with neuroendocrine cancer about their experiences and the support that has made a difference to them.
- The role of the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – discussing the important role of the CNC in supporting people with complex needs and coordinating care across the neuroendocrine cancer pathway.
