Request an In-Service
Request tailored NET education to help your team build confidence, clarity and coordinated care for neuroendocrine cancer patients.
NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia (NECA) understands that many patients are managed in centres in regional and rural settings where access to education for Health Care Professionals can be challenging due to time and distance. There are also settings across Australia that don’t see many NET patients regardless of location.
NECA’s aim is to increase healthcare professionals’ knowledge of neuroendocrine cancer, ensuring that care for individuals with neuroendocrine cancer is coordinated, comprehensive, and well understood.
NECA offers flexible, virtual in-service sessions that can be tailored to your team’s needs and delivered at a time that suits you.
Topics may include:
- Overview of Neuroendocrine Cancer (NETs)
- Symptoms
- What treatment to give and when
- Somatostatin analogues – assessing the patient and injection techniques
- Functional syndromes seen in NETs
- Support services available through NECA (for patients and healthcare professionals)
- Other (please specify)

We are happy to customise the education session to your needs – our aim is to support earlier diagnosis of NETs, ensure patients receive Best Practice care, and strengthen shared understanding across the healthcare community.
