Webinar – Approaching the End of Life

2019 Webinar
approaching the end of life

Conversations about approaching the end of life can sometimes be very sensitive and confronting for people. There have also been some recent changes to the law in Victoria around Voluntary Assisted Dying. Although thinking about these topics can be challenging, we know there are many unanswered questions for people, and information can be extremely helpful in navigating this time.

The Unicorn Foundation are hosting a webinar for people who would like to know more about their options as they consider their own situation. The webinar will feature Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Michael Collins, and Voluntary Assisted Dying Navigator Susan Jury, who will provide an overview of palliative care, as well as provide information about the new legislation in Victoria. There will be an opportunity for questions to be answered and discussion.

This webinar will be filmed, and a link made available on request. Although you are welcome to attend from any location, the discussions around the processes related to Voluntary Assisted Dying will relate only to those from Victoria, Australia.

Date:      Tuesday 22nd October

Time:      7.30pm – 8.30pm (AEDT)
