The information about the pathology of a tumor may be overwhelming when first diagnosed with a NET tumor, however, it is probably the most important piece of information as far as understanding the nature of the disease. The webinar will run for 1 hour and some of the topics included are:

  • Overview of pathology of NETs
  • The different tests, Chromogranin (CgA), 5-HIAA urine test, biopsy, what do they all do?
  • What does Ki67 mean?
  • Grading of tumors – how important is it?
  • If you have a specific question you would like to ask please send to netnurse@neuroendocrine.org.au prior to the webinar and we will endevour to get it answered.
