NECA Team’s Advocacy Efforts Extend to 13 Industry Boards and working groups for Neuroendocrine Cancer Patients

Recognising the critical importance of collaboration and advocacy behind the scenes, the NECA Team embraces the opportunity to contribute to shaping the landscape for Neuroendocrine Cancer patients.

By sitting on this group of diverse boards, working and study groups, the team ensures a comprehensive and informed approach to addressing the unique challenges faced by individuals diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer.

  • Cancer Nurses Association of Australia (CNSA) – Vice President, Board of Directors
  • Coalition of National Nursing Organisations (CoNNMO) – Council
  • Alliance & Partnerships for Patient Innovation & Solutions (APPIS) – Council, Expert Advisory Panel
  • International Neuroendocrine Cancer Alliance (INCA) – Board of Directors, Chair of Research Committee
  • Australian Cancer Nurse Navigation Program – Expert Advisory Group, Telehealth Nurse Working Group
  • NSW Health Consumers  – Consumer Organisations Taskforce
  • Cancer Organisations Collaboration – representative Non Government organisations
  • The Australasian Association of Nuclear Medicine Specialists (AANMS) Theranostics Meeting
  • Commonwealth Neuroendocrine Tumour research collaborative (CommNETs) Working Group
  • AUSNET Study Group
  • North Foundation Development Committee
  • NET Nurse Special Interest Group

Through these collaborative efforts, the NECA Team aims to amplify the voices of patients and advocate for improved resources, research, and support networks.

The NECA Team extends gratitude to the boards and their members for the opportunity to contribute to the collective mission of enhancing the lives of Neuroendocrine Cancer patients.
