INCA Net Patient Summit 2014

  • July 15, 2014
In late May Simone Leyden CEO of The Unicorn Foundation AUS and Siobhan Conroy Executive Director of Unicorn Foundation NZ, travelled to Lake Maggiore Italy to join 17 other NET patient groups as part of the INCA (International Neuroendocrine Cancer Alliance) 2014 Patient Summit.

It was an incredible 3 day summit as we all joined together to share ideas, experiences and learn from the wealth of knowledge from the various speakers, such as Dr Piero Forella (Umbria Region Cancer Network), Karen Facey (HTAi Scotland), Erik Briers, Europa Uomo, Ken Paterson UK. As well as all the fantastic presentations from the member group representatives.

We are excited to be working on the launch of the Global Patient Survey of which we will have preliminary results in time for World NET Awareness Day November 10.

Special thanks to Novartis, Ipsen and Lexicon for making our patient summit possible.
