Sydney Unicorn Get Together

Thank you to our NETs Community!

With thanks to our beautiful NETs Community, the first Sydney ‘Unicorn’ get together took place on Saturday 26th November at Harbord Diggers which saw 40+ patients and their loved ones show up for a day of great company, sunshine, and plenty of food!

The winner of the ‘Unicorns are Unique’ fundraiser raffle was drawn at the event, congratulations to Michelle who is now the proud new owner of a unicorn quilt generously donated and handmade by the lovely Frances Barberie sister of gorgeous Bronwyn Manny.

Bronwyn’s “Unicorns are Unique” fundraiser has more than doubled the original target of $1000 and raised just over $2700! Many hours have been invested in the making of the quilt and selling of raffle tickets. We thank the team involved in making this happen and congratulations to the winner, Michelle!

A very big shoutout to Vikki McDonnell and David Lockwood for organising the event. There were people who travelled from Melbourne, WA, NSW North Coast, NSW South Coast, regional NSW and near Canberra to attend.

We’re looking forward to this becoming an annual event!
