Where your research dollar goes
NECA doesn’t just talk about supporting research, it is an active co-investigator and partner on some of the most important NET studies happening in Australia right now:
- PLANETARI, a newly launched, nationally funded research initiative aimed at transforming how neuroendocrine cancer is understood and treated across the country.
- AUS-NET, a national program helping build better pathways between GPs, specialists, and NET patients so the disease is recognised and managed earlier and more effectively.
- A Para-Pheo clinical trial, supporting research into paraganglioma and phaeochromocytoma, rare and complex neuroendocrine conditions that need dedicated, specialised study.
- An international study for Progression Free Survival (PFS) / Overall Survival(OS) impact for patients in clinical trials
- Stop NET, contributing to a broader body of clinical trial work aimed at improving treatment outcomes for NET patients.
A recurring thread through this research is quality of life: less pain, fewer disruptive symptoms, and more good days.
