APPIS (Alliance & Partnership for Patient Innovation and Solutions) Summit 2024

  • March 28, 2024

The APPIS summit was held virtually on Tuesday 19 March & Wednesday 20 March 2024. A collaborative event that had 1891 attendees from Asia-Pacific, India, Africa and the Middle East.

APPIS brings together patient communities and healthcare professionals with the objective to reduce the huge disparities and lack of equitable access to health – every person’s right. The Summit covered the areas of Health Literacy, Health Policy Shaping, and Digital – Future Readiness.

NECA’s CEO presented “Lessons & Success in Patient Self Advocacy: Be Your Voice An Australian Perspective on Cancer Care” and participated in a panel discussion. Presenters were international and the Summit had each presentation translated into their own language.
