Card Sisters Host Successful Fundraiser for March4NETS

  • March 27, 2024

Suzie and Jennifer, two dedicated sisters, hosted a fundraising event at Brett Bay Park, Drummoyne. The idyllic location provided the perfect backdrop for their noble cause.

The event was meticulously organised by the dynamic duo, who tirelessly strive to raise awareness and funds for Neuroendocrine Cancer Australia. Fifty people attended including families, patients, friends, children, and even their furry companions who all joined in the bay run. A delicious sausage BBQ added to the festivities, all expertly arranged by the generous sisters.

Among the attendees was Patricia, the supportive mother of the sisters, who offered encouragement and unwavering support.

The fundraiser proved to be a resounding success, with $100 worth of cards sold on the day, accompanied by $600 towards the $7500 already raised for March4NETs and numerous contributions made through the NECA website.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and donated and of course, thank you to Suzie and Jennifer for organising and helping to raise awareness of NETs and supporting NECA. You are both an inspiration to all.

You can still donate to the Card Sisters here.
