Shining a Light for World Neuroendocrine Cancer Day – Help Us Light Up Australia

  • September 26, 2025

Each year on 10 November for World Neuroendocrine Cancer Day, NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia joins the global movement to raise awareness of Neuroendocrine Tumours (NETs). This year, we’re leading Australia’s efforts by lighting up landmarks across the country in support of the NET community.

Lighting up landmarks is a powerful way to spark conversations, honour those living with NETs and remember those we have lost.

We’re still building our list and would love your help. If you know of a local landmark, council asset or building that could be lit up in your community, please get in touch with us. Our team can apply on your behalf or provide support materials to help you make a request.

How to get involved:
📩 Email us at info@neuroendocrine.org.au with details of your suggested landmark.

Landmarks already confirmed for 2025

9th November

  • Queensland – Story Bridge, Victoria Bridge, Kangaroo Point Bridge, Wickham Terrace Car Park architectural wall, Breakfast Creek Bridge, Yowoggera Bridge
  • Tasmania – Tasman Bridge, Hobart Bridge
  • Western Australia – Mandurah Bridge

10th November

  • Queensland – Townsville sign, Victoria Bridge, Wharton Reef Lighthouse, George Roberts Bridge, Old Magistrates Court House, Central Park Boardwalk, Little Fletcher Bridge
  • Victoria – Bolte Bridge, Sound Tube Bridges, McCrae Lighthouse
  • Western Australia – Trafalgar Bridge, Council House, Matagarup Bridge, Mount Street Bridge, Sky Ribbon, Joondalup Drive Bridge, Northbridge Tunnel
  • New South Wales – Manly Town Hall, Macksville Bridge, Big Banana Coffs Harbour
  • South Australia – Parliament House SA
  • Australian Capital Territory – Questacon
  • Tasmania – Wrest Point

Together, we can shine a light on Neuroendocrine Cancer, raise awareness and support thousands of Australians living with NETs.
