Art painted on pre loved surfboards

By Michelle Noonan

My art helped me whilst living with NETs.

My grandchildren came up with the idea of painting the  surfboards and I really liked it as I loved to surf when I was a kid   when I became aware I had NETs I needed something to keep me busy.  I have always painted but only for my family,  they encouraged me to have an art display at a venue, showcasing my boards. As a result many sold! I paint when I feel well, so recently not as much as I would like. The blue and ocean colours are my favourites – each board tells a story. I have painted on many different surfaces from driftwood, rocks, furniture etc
