ICAP Charity Day December 3

On December 3 in the ICAP Offices in Sydney the Unicorn Foundation was one of 13 charities selected to be the recipients of the 2014 International ICAP Charity Day.

With all the ICAP staff dressed up in various characters from South park, Black Swans, Waking Dead, Surfers to name a few, the office was a buzz. Each charity had the option of bringing in an ambassador to man the phones and trade on the day and the Unicorn Foundation was fortunate to have Deborah Hutton represent us. Deborah did a fantastic job and even closed a 1 Billion Dollar currency deal. All the commissions made on all the trades for the day are distributed to charity which is an incredibly generous offer from staff who rely on these commissions as their income.

We would like to thank everyone involved including Brad Howell, ICAP CEO Australia and NZ, Linda O’Sullivan for all her hard work organising all the charities, Michael Golden for nominating our charity to participate in the day and of course the lovely Deborah Hutton who made the day so enjoyable and fun.

With close to 120 million pounds raised for charity since its inception in 1993, we look forward to reporting back on the success of ICAP Charity Day 2014.
