Patients Encouraged to Join the NET Cancer Connections Online Group

Following the success of our first Webinar in June we encouraged our NET patients to use the fantastic resource available to them through the cancer council's cancer connections website. We have developed a NET patient secure group which allows patients from all around Australia to chat to each other online and through live chats.

To further develop this resource we are working with the cancer council on putting together more webinars in 2013 as well as live chats with NET specialists from around Australia. These will be exclusively accessed by registered NET patients.

For more information visit the Internet Support Group for people with NETS on the Cancer Connections online community (www.cancerconnections.com.au). Internet Support Groups are private, meaning the conversations are only readable by group members. These groups communicate using a blog, accessible 24 hours, as well as having access to a live chat room for real-time group discussions. The group is free of charge, available throughout Australia, and professionally facilitated.

If you think you would be interested in being part of this group, we’d love you to get in touch via CSG@cancervic.org.au
