What an incredible achievement!

Shane Kent has officially completed the world’s hardest triathlon – the Arch to Arc – in just 57 hours and 37 minutes. That’s almost two and a half days of non-stop running, swimming, and cycling, making him only the 64th person in the world to ever finish this challenge.

Shane took on this epic feat in honour of his mum, Maria, and to raise funds and awareness for NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia. Thanks to his grit and determination, to date he’s raised approximately $14,000 to support NET patients across Australia.

The Arch to Arc is no ordinary race – it starts with an 87-mile run from London to Dover, followed by a swim across the English Channel, and finishes with a 180-mile cycle to Paris’s Arc de Triomphe (and what a triumph it was!). It’s widely known as the toughest endurance race on the planet.

Shane’s story has reached audiences across the globe, shining a spotlight on NET cancer and inspiring so many along the way. We thank Shane for allowing NECA to share his triumphant journey every step of the way. For those of you who joined in the last 8 minutes of live broadcast – it was truly heart stopping!

We couldn’t be more grateful to Shane, his support crew, and everyone who donated.  Your effort and heart will make a real difference for the NET community.
