Sharon Rickard Completes Run Larapinta 2025!

A huge congratulations to Sharon Rickard, NET patient and proud CAG Member, who has just conquered the 2025 Run Larapinta Namatjira course — a gruelling four-stage race through the rugged heart of Alice Springs.

Across 80km+ of steep climbs, rocky trails, and breath taking outback terrain, Sharon pushed through with courage and determination:

  • Stage 1: 13.5km – Old Telegraph Station to The Mercure

  • Stage 2: 20km – Standley Chasm loop

  • Stage 3: 22km – Birthday Waterhole to Standley Chasm

  • Stage 4: 27km – Counts Point turn off to Ellery Creek Waterhole

Not only did Sharon complete this incredible endurance event, she did it to raise funds and awareness for NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia — going above and beyond to shine a light on NETs and raising $2,500 in much needed funds along the way.

We are so grateful to Sharon, and to her family who supported her every step of the way. Your strength, tenacity, and perseverance are truly inspiring.
