What participants are saying
It was useful to listen to all the information that was provided much of which was new. I think it is valuable to hear from other patients and the patient facilitators about their experiences and to be able to talk about how I am going as well.
Encouraging patients to be their own strongest advocate is a powerful tool apart from the obvious benefit in ensuring the services you need are provided in a timely way it is also a key builder of resilience and confidence.
Hearing first hand stories from patients and gathering any information I can I found reassuring and informative.
Tips on nutrition, health and fatigue were great. As were the practical Health Care System and resources and support information. Great initiative, please keep them going! Thanks
This program is greatly appreciated.
It comes at a time that I am navigating a new NET diagnosis this year. It is good to know that there is support from others including the wonderful caring NET nurses, dietitians and counsellors.
