Specialist Neuroendocrine Cancer Counsellor

Amanda is a registered counsellor and a passionate advocate for NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia. Amanda has lived experience as a Neuroendocrine Cancer patient, and since 2016 is an active member of the Consumer Advisory Group for NECA. Amanda is also a Global Advisory Board member for INCA, the International Neuroendocrine Cancer Alliance. Having completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education, Amanda went on to complete her Masters with the University of Queensland, specialising in counselling. Amanda enjoys applying her knowledge of generalised mental health concerns for a range of wellbeing needs, and has worked with adults, young adults and school aged children.

Amanda has worked across a range of industries including, health, education and the cultural sector. Wellbeing and positive mental health are at the forefront of Amanda’s professional practice, and she enjoys building rapport with a diverse range of people.
