Isobel completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 2018 through the University of Tasmania and began her career in oncology and haematology at the Royal Hobart Hospital. After gaining experience there, she spent a year specialising in oncology and haematology at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne.
When the COVID-19 pandemic began, Isobel relocated to Katherine in the Northern Territory, where she worked in a remote, largely nurse-led oncology and haematology unit. During this time, she also completed a Graduate Certificate in Oncology Nursing.
Her passion for working in diverse and challenging environments led her to travel nursing across Western Australia, where she worked in remote clinics with a focus on both emergency care and oncology.
In 2023, Isobel returned to Tasmania and has since been working in the oncology units at both Launceston General Hospital and Mersey Community Hospital. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care in oncology and thrives in both team-based and independent nursing roles.
Isobel is looking forward to working with Neuroendocrine Cancer patients, driven by her passion for supporting people with complex, often misunderstood cancers. She believes that increasing awareness and providing individualised support can make a meaningful difference.
