A/Prof David Wyld’s research interests have focused particularly on gastrointestinal cancers (with a specific focus on pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer and neuroendocrine tumours (NETs)), gynaecologic malignancies and qualitative patient focused research. His current major research focuses are in the areas of NETS, Pancreatic Cancer, the supportive care needs of patients with cancer and health systems research. A/P Wyld has authored 2 book chapters and over 80 refereed publications, with approx. 50 in the last 5 years. Over the last 20 years as a full-time practicing Cancer Clinician at RBWH, A/P Wyld has maintained an active research focus, predominantly in the area of clinical research, as well as leading the development of an expanding overall research program in the Department of Medical Oncology at RBWH.
