About the Author: Hannah Richell
I published my debut novel, Secrets of the Tides, in 2012, and since then I have written four family dramas and two thrillers, with my work translated into twenty-one languages. In 2026, I published An Ocean and a Day, a deeply personal journey through love and grief. My brother, Will, was diagnosed with NETS in 2019 and very sadly died in 2021 at the age of forty-one, leaving behind a wife and two young children. Since Will’s death, my family has supported NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia with their efforts to support those diagnosed with the illness and in their fundraising for important research. We firmly believe that people living with neuroendocrine cancer should have access to the swiftest diagnosis, compassionate care, and ultimately, we hope, a cure
