This webinar will cover:

  • The presence of complications including malnutrition, weight change, vitamin deficiencies, and dietary change and their impact on patient quality of life.
  • Results of an international survey of NET health professionals exploring their practices in regards to nutrition management in NET patients.
  • Recommendations for education and screening to improve nutrition care in NETs.

Erin Laing

Erin is a senior dietitian at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She works closely with the multidisciplinary team in the upper gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine units at Peter Mac with a particular interest in the nutritional management and supportive care of gastrointestinal cancers including neuroendocrine tumours, as well as nutritional issues and quality of life throughout cancer treatment. Erin is regularly involved in allied health research and recently completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne.
