Expressions of interest open for ANZSNM nurse and allied health workshop in Canberra

Expressions of interest are now open for nurses and allied health professionals to attend a dedicated workshop as part of the upcoming Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine Conference, taking place at the Canberra Convention Centre from 15 to 17 May 2026.

ANZSNM is focused on advancing the clinical practice of nuclear medicine across both diagnosis and therapy, including theranostics. As part of this, a dedicated nurse and allied health session will be held on Saturday 16 May, bringing together professionals involved in multidisciplinary care.

The session will include updates on emerging theranostics and clinical trials, nurse-led case studies and a roundtable discussion, with the final program still to be confirmed. Attendees are encouraged to suggest topics they would like to see included.

Expressions of interest are open to those working across nuclear medicine, cancer care, specialist nursing roles including NETs and prostate cancer, and broader allied health professions involved in patient care across metropolitan, regional and rural settings.

With thanks to Telix, limited funding will be available to support attendance at the workshop and conference.

To apply, please submit a brief CV along with a short statement outlining how attending the workshop will benefit you and the care you provide, to Meredith Cummins at meredith@neuroendocrine.org.au by COB 17 April 2026.

This workshop provides an opportunity for nurses and allied health professionals to connect, share knowledge and contribute to discussions on evolving practice in nuclear medicine.
