NET Registry and Patient App starts rollout

Unicorn Foundation in collaboration with the eResearch department at Melbourne University have developed a world class Neuroendocrine Tumour (NET) registry and mobile app. Both the PLANET Registry and app have progressed through a rigorous ethics and governance approval process over the last 12 months and we are pleased to report that we are starting the roll out this month at Peter MacCallum.

Over the coming months, the following hospitals will also rollout this service to their NET patients:

  • Royal North Shore Hospital (NSW)
  • Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (QLD)
  • Queen Elizabeth Hospital (SA)
  • Fiona Stanley Hospital (WA)

Remember to talk to your doctor during your next visit and tell them you’re excited about this app and would like to be involved as soon as possible.  A code is required for access and this is provided by your healthcare professional.
