Steve and Jakes Everesting Challenge – thank you!

It is with deep gratitude and awe that we thank Steve and Jake for completing the mammoth task of the Everest Challenge to raise funds for NECA.

On Neuroendocrine Cancer Day 2024, November 10 at 4am Steve and Jake set out at the early hour of 4am to climb the vertical height of Mount Everest (8,848 metres).  The boys chose the steep Mount Osmond Road (Adelaide) and rode this 42 times!! Finishing up with very tired legs at 11:45pm that night. What a huge day with only a few hours rest to recharge across the event.

Like all of our NECA fundraisers, both Steve and Jake have been impacted by NETs, with family members being diagnosed. Equally amazing as the climb was the huge effort of raising over $9,000.  On behalf of NET patients Australia wide  – thank you gentlemen – this fundraiser was over and above.
