Overview
This week we had the pleasure of talking with Professor Jas Samra, from Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Jas is a renowned surgeon, and we were very grateful to him for sharing his time and expertise with us.

Multidisciplinary teams – the importance of these, and the types of discussions they have
Factors that are considered when considering surgery for a person with NETs
What sort of factors would lead to a recommendation for taking out a primary tumour?
What sort of factors would lead to a recommendation for taking out a secondary tumour?
Liver recovery after surgery
Operating when there has been prior treatment (such as PRRT, SIRT)
Somatostatin analogues and gallbladders
Liver transplantation
