Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Trials Group (AGITG) Annual Scientific Meeting in Melbourne

NECA CEO attends AGITG

NECA CEO, Meredith Cummins has attended the Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Trials Group (AGITG) Annual Scientific Meeting in Melbourne 14 – 17 November 2022.

This has been a fabulous meeting with international speakers, Australian HCPs and NZ HCPs.

The meeting has provided updates on clinical trials with topics such as genomics, genetic testing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), personalised treatment, including an update on CONTROLNETs by Prof Nick Pavlakis and future plans for the subsequent trial in planning.

It was also so beneficial, with being able to network with many of our clinicians (many from our PLANET Registry committee), industry and other healthcare professionals. The networking provided opportunities to work together for projects, education and care co-ordination.

Australia is doing amazing work in clinical trials, and it has been a pleasure to be part of this meeting.
