Call out for Cancer Connect Volunteers

 Volunteer image 1

We are so pleased to collaborate with Cancer Council in the
Cancer Connect program, where volunteers who have had, or cared for someone
with NETs, can undergo a training program to provide telephone peer support.

We get such fantastic feedback from this – for many people, just talking to
someone else who has been through a similar experience can make such a
difference!

We are currently seeking interest from people who would like to know more about
becoming a volunteer in Victoria and NSW. We are particularly interested to
talk to people who have experienced PRRT (or Lutate therapy), and people who
have cared for someone with NETs.

If you would like to know more, please contact our NET Nurse, Kate Wakelin on NETNurse@Unicornfoundation.org.au
or 1300 CURE NETS.
