Fundraiser with furry friends

elleA fun day out was had on Sunday 20th March in Westerfolds Park Templestowe when Elle Lea organised a “Dog Walk Fundraiser” in honour of her beautiful mother Karen who passed away from NET cancer 15 years ago.

With fabulous weather and lots of friends and family on hand, the day was a huge success raising over $2,000!  Elle told us that the “Guess how many dog treats are in the jar” game was a big winner along with other raffles and a delicious BBQ lunch.

The Unicorn Foundation would like to thank Elle for her huge efforts in putting this amazing fundraiser together which will make a real difference to NET cancer patients and also help to raise awareness about NET cancer.

Elle summed up her incredible day saying “Sunday was more than I could’ve ever hoped for.  The weather was gorgeous and everything went to plan.  I want to do it all again!”
