We are so thrilled that the Neuroendocrine Cancer Optimal Care Pathway (OCP) was launched by Cancer Council Australia and Cancer Australia at the end of January. NECA was integral in the development of the Pathway and we will be commencing an Awareness Campaign to let everyone know this is now available. The OCP consists of 3 documents:
- The first is a comprehensive mapping of suspecting, detecting, investigating, treating, and living with NETs. This document is 96 pages and is a wonderful resource for healthcare professionals and consumers.
- The second document is a Quick Reference Guide which is 4 pages and a great overview of timeframes and processes for GPs.
- The final document is for consumers – Neuroendocrine Cancer “Your Best Guide to Cancer Care.”
