Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre – Recruiting NET health professionals for International Delphi survey

Recruiting NET health professionals for International Delphi survey

Development of a neuroendocrine tumour (NET) nutrition-risk screening tool to identify patients requiring nutrition intervention and education

Multidisciplinary health professionals are invited to take part in an online Delphi survey aiming to develop a novel NET-nutrition risk screening tool. The goal of this screening tool will be to identify NET patients requiring further nutrition assessment and support. Through the Delphi survey health professionals will be able to review and provide feedback on the tool and it’s development. Round One of the survey will be open until August 12th 2022. After development, the tool will be tested with a cohort of NET patients to measure it’s clinical utility ahead of plans for a larger validation study.

This study is being conducted by the NET unit and Nutrition and Speech Pathology Department at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne, Australia, led by Dr Erin Laing
