Patients in Tasmania have faced unique struggles in accessing specialized care and support for their NET diagnoses and have been advocating for a dedicated NET nurse for Tasmania.

However, there is now a glimmer of hope on the horizon, thanks to the unwavering commitment of Shadow Minister for Health, Anita Dow, and Member for Bass, Janie Finlay. In a recent development, these dedicated politicians have pledged to fund a NET Cancer Nurse in Tasmania for three years if they win the next election.
