Inaugural NET MDT at Monash Cancer Centre

We are grateful for the opportunity that Prof Segelov gave UF, to raise awareness about our patient support services and our research goals, to the first NET Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meeting at Monash Cancer Centre.

Members of the team, including oncologist, Dr Andrew Strickland will meet at a minimum of once a month, to discuss NET patients treatment options, across various disciplines including surgery, oncology and endocrinology. Research has shown that patient's have better outcomes if their case is discussed at MDT's, therefore we encourage hospitals to implement and grateful to those hospitals that have a system in place.

We look forward to working with the team at Monash as we continue to improve NET Cancer patients care.
