Be the Voice for NET Patients in WA – Join Our CAG Team

  • June 10, 2025
Call out for a consumer advisory representative from Western Australia (voluntary position)
  • Are you from Western Australia?
  • Have you experienced a diagnosis of a Neuroendocrine Tumour (NET) – either as a patient, carer or family member?
  • Are you passionate about improving outcomes for people with NETs?
  • Are you keen to share your experiences and expertise to influence the development of resources and services provided to communities affected by NETs?
NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia invites you to consider nominating for the position of Western Australia representative on our Consumer Advisory Group (CAG).

The CAG functions as a consumer representative voice for people who have been diagnosed with NETs, and their carers.

By working together, the CAG provides a mechanism for the consumer voice to be addressed, with the overall goal of providing better services and outcomes for people and communities affected by NETs.

Consumer Advisory Members represent a mixture of patients and carers. We aim for representation from a wide range of states and territories (from both regional and metropolitan areas), with a mix of gender, age and culture (including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage). This volunteer group meets bi-monthly via web-conference.

People who would like to nominate will be asked to provide a written application, addressing key selection criteria.

There will be an interview process (via telephone) and all applicants need to be willing to undergo a volunteer and reference check.

For more information, please see the terms of reference and key selection documents listed below.

If you would like to discuss your potential involvement in this group, or have further questions, please email info@neuroendocrine.org.au
