Presentations were delivered by a multidisciplinary panel including Nikie Jervis, Avril Hull, Kahlia Wolsley, Steph Lindores, and Jonathan Sen.
With 24 live attendees and many more registered to access the recording, the session covered key topics including:
- An overview of NETs
- Treatment pathways, from watch-and-wait approaches to medical and surgical options, including PRRT (with case study)
- Carcinoid syndrome and its complications, including carcinoid crisis and carcinoid heart disease
- Nursing approaches to supporting patients living with carcinoid syndrome
This webinar highlighted the importance of ongoing nurse education to improve outcomes and support for patients living with NETs.
