Duodenal Neuroendocrine Cancer
Overview
Duodenal Neuroendocrine Cancer produces many hormones and peptides such as serotonin, calcitonin and gastrin somatostatin. Patients may present with ‘carcinoid syndrome’, pain in the abdomen or fatigue due to anaemia.
