Justine was diagnosed with a high grade neuroendocrine carcinoma back in July/August 2021. Despite trying many rounds of chemo and looking at alternative treatment options none were successful or suitable. Justine sadly passed away on 19th May 2022 at the very young age of 52.

What became really clear through our journey was that there was little research into this form of cancer and no suitable clinical trials.

Before passing Justine requested that rather than sending flowers for her funeral on May 27th she would prefer donations to a charity linked to her condition. NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia is our chosen charity. All donations will support research that may stop other families having to go through what we have.
