Linda Dessau appointed Victorian Governor

  • February 16, 2015
The Unicorn Foundation congratulates board member Linda Dessau for her appointment as Victoria's 29th Governor and for being the first female to hold the position.

Since joining the Unicorn Foundation board in 2011, Linda has brought to the position vast knowledge and guidance with governance, incredible experience in both the not for profit and corporate sector and valuable direction in helping us reach our strategic goals. No request has ever not been met by Linda, whether it has been help in fundraising for our events, raising awareness about NET Cancers in the community or providing solutions to challenging situations, Linda has always been available to provide the best advice.

Unfortunately Victoria's gain is our loss and sadly we announce Linda's resignation from our board. We know that Linda will make an exceptional Governor, redefining the role and definitely being a "…Governor for our times".

We thank Linda and her family on behalf of all NET Cancer patients for all her work and we look forward to working with her again in the future.
