NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia (NECA) win Best Non-Government Organisation (NGO) of the Year!
On World NET Cancer Day, 10 November 2022, NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia’s Simone Leyden (co-Founder & Board Member), Meredith Cummins (CEO) and Christie Newbon (Director & co-founder Arterial education) attended the PRIME Awards held at the Sofitel Wentworth.
The PRIME Awards continue to recognise and celebrate excellence across 20 categories within healthcare communications and the Australian pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
The PRIME Awards provides an opportunity to reflect on the continuous hard work and achievements over the last 18 months.
As always, PRIME looks to share the successes across the industry and recognise brilliant, fresh thinking and show stopping results.
It was such an exciting evening with approximately 500 in the Grand Ballroom eagerly awaiting the results of the winners for 20 categories. NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia (NECA) was a finalist in the Non-Government Organisation (NGO) of the Year for its development of the GP Education modules – “How to identify a Neuroendocrine Cancer When It’s Not Part of the Typical Line Up”.
When the announcement was made that NECA had won, the feeling of pride was amazing – to be acknowledged for this work, for all the years advocating for NETs, increasing awareness of NETs and to be the WINNER!!!
