Watercolours in Balmain fundraiser

  • November 21, 2023

In a stroke of artistic brilliance, talented and resilient Pamela Duffin, a NET cancer patient and gifted artist, hosted this special fundraiser Water Colour in Balmain which transformed the Balmain Watch House into an art haven, raising approximately $6,000 for NET cancer awareness and research.

Our heartfelt gratitude extends to Pamela Duffin for not only bringing her artistic prowess but also for orchestrating and promoting this remarkable event. Her dedication to the cause is truly inspiring, proving that art has the power to heal and unite.

A special thank you resonates with the participating artists – Susan Hodge, RooiPing Lim, John Haycraft, and, of course, Pamela Duffin. Each artist contributed their unique flair to the exhibition, showcasing the diversity of talent that can rally behind a crucial cause.

The heart of the fundraiser lay in the art pieces displayed as posters at the Balmain Watch House and on the NECA website.

From November 17 to 19, the Balmain Watch House transformed into a living gallery. Visitors immersed themselves in the creative expressions that adorned the walls, each piece carrying a narrative of resilience and hope.

The winners of these unique creations were drawn at 3 pm on November 19, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

The $6,000 raised not only contributes to advancing NET cancer awareness but also symbolizes the collective strength of a community determined to make a difference.

As the vibrant strokes of this fundraiser dry on the paper, they leave an indelible mark on the fight against Neuroendocrine Cancer. Our deep appreciation goes to Pamela Duffin, the contributing artists, and everyone who supported this initiative.

Together, we’ve created more than art; we’ve painted a brighter future for those affected by NET cancer.
