We invite you to become a vital part of our Cancer Connect program in collaboration with the Cancer Council. This unique initiative offers a powerful opportunity for volunteers who have personally faced neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) or provided care for someone with NETs.
Why Volunteer with Cancer Connect?
Empower Through Experience: Our volunteers undergo a specialised training program with Cancer Council, equipping them with the skills to provide invaluable telephone peer support. By sharing your personal journey, you have the chance to make a profound difference in the lives of those navigating similar challenges. Cancer Council offer a debrief service to Volunteers after each call.
Positive Feedback: We consistently receive heartwarming feedback from NET Patients who have benefited from connecting with someone who understands their NET journey. A simple conversation can be a spark hope and comfort for those seeking guidance.
